2010 Senior Portraits in Norfolk, Virginia - Traci O.

John Cachero Photography had the pleasure of photographing Traci's 2010 senior portraits in Norfolk, Virginia.  Even though Traci is a student in Chesapeake, Virginia, she indulged my suggestion that we explore the Waterside Marina and the newly renovated Town Point Park in downtown Norfolk.  I met Traci through her sister, Linda, whose engagement portraits and wedding I had shot earlier this year.  And just like the time I had spent with her sister, Traci and I started having fun during our shoot once I quickly gained her trust in me behind the camera, which allowed her to relax in front of the camera, which, in turn, led to some fantastic portraits.

Here are some of my favorite shots from her session.

Beautiful work, John!! I love the black and white shots best. I really like the location you chose. There seem to be so much for her to interact with. Love the spirit shown through the water shot! Priceless. Sure beats the in-studio senior portraits I got!

Wow! Great pics! I wish you were doing this when I needed my senior pictures to be done! :)

My faves are the black & whites and the one with the lampost/water background.

A beautiful girl definitely needs beautiful pictures! Well done :)

Yet again..awesome work, John! The image with the metal structure is especially striking: the shot is framed by it so naturally! Love it!

Such awesome pics John! If only I had pictures like this when we were in HS... I think I might even have the dreaded "lasers" in one of my pictures!!!

Wow very nice! I like the style and location. Very different I really love how you don't use the stereotypical locations for this type of session ! I love them all but my fave would have to be the black and white with her on the tree you can just see the happiness and innocence in her eyes! I give this a 10 indeed!

I love her senior pictures!! I wish senior portraits were like this ten years ago. My absolute favorite is the one of her jumping in front of the water. I like how you included waterside in the background but yet made her the main focal point. Another job well done for John Cachero Photography!!

Looks great, John! I dig the action shot. Very unique for a senior portrait. Much better than those stodgy stock senior portraits that most high school seniors get at school.

Wow, those are fantastic! The two black and white shots are fabulous, and I like the focus on the eyes. But the very first image you have there has a really big wow-factor to it. The background really combines with the subject's eye-color and complexion and just overall looks fantastic. Lucky girl! :)

These look great! I think the top two are my favorite. The black and white one, slightly edging out the color one on my vote for "best."

I honestly wish that these were my senior pictures. Mine looked so posed and staged. But these really look like something that she can be proud of and show people for years and years to come.

Oh, and my fave is the black and white one.
