John Cachero Photography had the pleasure of photographing Jenni M., a model looking to expand her portfolio, on the beach at Little Island Park in Sandbridge, Virginia Beach, Virginia. A photographer friend of mine, Eric Fadden, had worked with Jenni before and set up this session with her for us.
As such, I let Eric work with Jenni first. When it was my turn to work with Jenni, I simply asked her what shots she needed for her portfolio and she told me she was interested in general fashion photography shots and headshots. Once we started, we quickly got comfortable with each other. By showing her some of the shots we were getting, I gained her trust in my ability behind the lens which allowed her to shine in front of the lens. Although she had her own repertoire of poses and expressions, she was very accommodating when trying the poses and expressions that I suggested. Jenni was very easy going and lots of fun, and I very much look forward to working with her again.
Here are my favorite shots from our session:

john,
i think i've seen 3 or 4 sets of shots u've taken, and while i'll look @ many more, i don't need to see another one to know seriously you take your work. nicely done.
ps - did you get her number? i know you're married...but i'm not.
cheers,
albert
The last two are, I think, the best of the set. They're quite lovely!
Excellent set - glad to see that the day proved fruitful for you!
Love the framing and the lighting. Nice!
Wow, thank you so much John!
I had a brilliant time working with you on a fun, but professional level.
Thanks a ton for taking your time to make sure that the photos came out GREAT, Definitely worth the wait. ;)
I can't wait to work with you again and see what else we can create together! :D
Peace!
Jenni
Good stuff. I'd like to see her in a rustic setting.
love the one on the bench, very pretty
very pretty indeed.
She has a brilliant smile. The bench and fence shots are my faves.
Overall loved them. My one piece of criticism is that the off-white tone in the dress she was wearing blended in with the sand in a way that kind of made her clothes disappear into the background a bit in some of the shots like camouflage. Great for our troops, probably sub-optimal for a fashion magazine. Hey, USO fashion show anyone?
Love 'em John - especially the bench shots - the color contrast is so vibrant!!
Great shots, nice lighting which is not always easy on the beach. I really dislike that dress she is wearing, wish she had tried a few different outfits. That's why the close ups are my favorites.
Nice lighting, wish it had been a bit warmer, but I like it none the less... last two are my favorites! Good job John, as usual ;O)
Pretty girl with a pretty smile. Nice pics.
Great pics as usual John, I loved all the pictures, very natural, gorgeous setting, she photographed beautifully, they looked like pictures already in a magazine or catalog, just breathtaking.
