Northern Virginia - Washington D.C. Wedding Photography - Marcela & Dan

John Cachero Photography had the pleasure of photographing Marcela and Dan, who celebrated their wedding ceremony at the Church of the Nativity in Northern Virginia and their wedding reception at the Fort Myer Officers' Club just outside Washington D.C.

I was referred to Marcela and Dan from a mutual friend, and even though they also checked out several other Northern Virginia / Washington D.C. photographers, they still were willing to pay my travel and lodging costs from Hampton Roads to have me shoot their wedding.  I feel extra honored because Dan is also a photographer, and choosing a photographer while being a photographer is often a personal challenge.

Their wedding and reception were both beautiful and fun, but the best part of our day, in my opinion, wass when we took a limo ride to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial to photograph their formal portraits.  Thank you, Marcela and Dan, for hosting such a lovely wedding and for giving me the opportunity to shoot in our nation's capital.

Here are my favorite shots from that day.
