“Face it, Tiger... you just hit the JACKPOT!” — Mary Jane Watson • • • Jess had booked this cosplay shoot with me late last year through Instagram. Both of us had been very excited to get this photo shoot done, but a variety of reasons kept having us to reschedule the shoot. • With her moving away soon and me traveling away for work again (Atlanta, I’m coming for you), we had to get the shoot done yesterday. Despite the cold, wind, and rain, we knocked out an excellent cosplay set! Jess was one helluva trooper in her thin Spidey suit! • #swipeleft for a full un-cropped version of this photo. • Cosplayers, con season is on the horizon. HMU soon to book your cosplay photo shoot. My shooting schedule is getting more and more limited everyday. Are you ready for Season 11 of [Matt Iseman voice] AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR?! • • • Los Angeles is the second city that I’ve been honored to have been on @mattiseman’s VIP list for the tapings of @ninjawarrior. When we chatted before the start of the first night, he told me to make sure to get a great shot of him and @akbar_gbaja on top of the announcer tower. • Here you go, Matt and Akbar! “You’re so stupid, Rose! Why did you do that? Why?!” — “You jump; I jump. Right?”⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ Now that I’m shooting a limited amount of weddings every year, I’m going to admit something. I mostly detest when someone in the wedding party surprises everyone with the recommendation of doing a jumping group photo. Inevitably, 9 times out of 10, someone’s timing is completely off or some unwilling and/or un-athletic member barely gets off the ground.⠀ •⠀ However, when a group of crazy athletic American Ninja Warriors ask to do a jumping photo, I can trust it’s going to be rad and we’re going to get it on the first try.⠀ •⠀ I had a fantastic two nights at the L.A. tapings in large part to my ninja fam that’s welcomed me into the community wholeheartedly.⠀ •⠀ This photo was taken on top of the starting area of the season 11 course. NOW BOOKING Class of 2020 Senior Portrait Sessions! — STILL BOOKING Class of 2019 Senior Portrait Sessions!⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ On this New Year’s Day, a potential client who had already been in contact with me went ahead booked her daughter’s Class of 2020 senior portrait session. I told her, “Wow. Thank you for making sure booking me was on your priority to-do list for 2019!”⠀ •⠀ On that same note, if a Class of 2019 student hasn’t had their senior portrait session, it’s never too late! It truly does not matter that it was not done before the start of the school year or before a yearbook deadline. Senior portrait sessions are for you and your family, ultimately.⠀ •⠀ Here is a Class of 2019 graduating student, @teamsmith.madeline, during our fall photo shoot on a cold, drizzly day.
