John Cachero Photography took to the streets to photograph the Survive Norfolk event held in Ghent on October 22, 2010. I am incredibly stoked I was able to be a part of this event which showcased not only that this Hampton Roads community needs more organized events, but also that thousands of us can congregate in public without any incidents. Many, many articles have been written up about Survive Norfolk, both beforehand and afterward, so I will limit my words here. Just Google "Survive Norfolk" and you'll see just how big this event became. I'm glad it was such a success.
The Survive Norfolk description from the Facebook event page:
Get ready to run, duck, hide, outwit, and outmaneuver your opponents as you take to the streets of Ghent to survive in the most epic race for your life. It's part tag, part footrace, part zombie apocalypse.
